Universities & Technology Transfer Offices
Universities and specifically, tech transfer offices, provide a unique opportunity for Post Oak to "fully-engage" in our process. From working with the researchers at-the-bench to negotiating licensing agreements with the University, on to full strategy and business plan incubation and eventually all stages of fundraising. We actively seek and succeed with these opportunities by taking an active role in the executive leadership of the opportunities, acting as executives-in-residence, long-term strategic advisors and active board members.
Private Equity & Investor Groups
We have worked with several investor groups over the years to provide not only due diligence and valuation services on possible investments, but utilize a unique, industry-tested model to develop actionable roadmaps for existing portfolio assets - including M&A opportunities, possible JVs, and long-term strategic planning.

While we specialize in the needs of early-stage firms, we do engage with established organizations on various projects as needs arise. These often involve performing due diligence on new initiatives that are outside the traditional areas of expertise of the client. We have found that many of the strategies we employ have a dual impact on more established firms - we not only achieve the desired results of the original engagement, we also help to positively impact the existing culture of the firm by introducing new methodologies and tools into the firm.
